The purpose of this app is to help bring the Word of God, the Holy Scripture, nearer. The diverse circumstances of life, especially when busy, cluttered, full of distraction or turmoil, make it's essential to have a steady stream of life affirming words that can bring encouragement to any need. The Word of God is the ultimate companion in all circumstances, and has been given to us for this very purpose. The goal of the Rhema Word Companion is to present the Word of God as accessible and functional for direct and immediate encouragement: for seeing; hearing; and reflecting on God's Word. It is, however, not intended to represent the entirety of Scripture, nor is it intended to be or to replace thorough and scholarly Bible study. "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work." (2 Tim 3:16-17, ESV)

Visit the Daily Word page each day and click the ‘New Daily Word’ button to reveal new ‘Manna (Daily Bread)’ for that day; a word of scriptural encouragement which changes and is new each day. Then press the ‘Play’ button to open the audio player and to play the audio of the New Daily Word.

The Topical Tree page presents an ordering (tree) of bible study topics by category beginning with ‘Sin (Living/Doing Wrongly)’, followed by the products of Sin, organized under ‘Dysfunction’, ‘Displacement’ and a ‘Fallen World’. This is followed by ‘Righteousness (Living/Doing Rightly)’ and the product of Righteousness: ‘Blessing’. Click the caret (filled triangle/pointer) under each category to reveal the list of topics, then click on a topic to go to the topic page and audio.

The Search page allows for a search of topics. Type a topic (such as worry, hurt, stress, faith, etc.) into the search box to find it, (or similar/related topic), in the list of topics. Click on the topic of interest to go to the topic page and audio.
